What can can I say about Spruces, we loved it!! Clean bathrooms with foot pedal flush! Super nice camp managers (a couple). The only issue was quiet time not strictly enforced. Lake front & large campsites. Dumpsters on-site. Great trout fishing on the "lava dam" as we called it, cheap boat rentals, near by tackle shop. We were here on the beginning of August and it was still very cold at night. My poor dog was shivering all night even in bed with us!! Do not dismiss weather possibilities here though, it IS the wilderness. Hail with no warning, thunderstorms & wind then bright hot sun, bring an Easy-Up YOU NEED ONE!! Worth the drive, we will definitely be back!!

Sites are close to one another, close to main road, and close to lake.
